This site is based on the enormous amount of work done by William Holder (Uncle Buddy), and is not intended as a substitute, but rather a Web version of the genealogy books he has put together.

This is a work in progress, as there is missing information in the genealogy section. Please contact me regarding any missing or inaccurate information. You can contact me using the Contact form. Since Uncle Buddy did the initial work, a lot has happened in the families of descendants of Dora Belle. We have unforunately lost some, but we have also gained some as new members have joined in the next generation of family. I would love to have updated info.

Why dorabelle.net?
When I did a Web serch for a domain name for this site, all appropriate variations of "Holder", "Stewart", and "Stuart" were taken. Since Dora Belle Stewart bridges the rich genealogical history of the Stewart past with the current and future generations descended from the Holder name, it seemed appropriate.
